The Challenge
Prophecy Astro was an experienced astrologer who was not able to translate this into the steady stream of consultation clients on Instagram. It was very spiritual and did not have a clear lead generation funnel, call-to-action strategy, and engagement architecture to turn followers into paying clients.
Low Discovery & Reach
No one was receiving posts. The unsteady use of a hashtag and rigid posting of images implied that it would not discover many people organically, outside the audience.
No Lead Funnel
The awareness of booking content journey was not very clear. Disciples lacked a systematic channel of asking or scheduling a consultation using DMs or link-in-bio.
Low Engagement Conversion
The current audience was passive and liked but not commented on, saved or messaged. Impression levels were high but did not translate into consultation enquiries and profile activities.
Our Approach
We started with the complete audit of the profile of the @deoprophecy. The bio was rephrased to present an easy-to-understand value proposition customised Vedic astrology readings with a direct call-to-action that will send the traffic to a booking resource. Highlight reels were organized into conversion-oriented sections: Testimonials, Free Readings, Services and Zodiac Insights. All the profile items were adjusted to minimize resistance between a new visitor and a consultation request.
Our Reels-dominant content calendar has been published 4-5 times a week. Each Reel was designed in the form of a lead magnet hook with an opening insight unique to Zodiac that encouraged the viewers to comment their sun sign, follow to Part 2, or DM a keyword like a “CHART” to get a free mini reading. This mechanic spurred both expansion of reach using the Instagram algorithm and direct DM inflows which were then fostered into consultation bookings. They were placed in layers of educational carousel posts that talked about subjects such as Saturn Return, Venus in retrograde, and Kundli analysis at each end with a gentle CTA to book a session.
A DM response system was implemented to manage the stream of incoming messages activated by keywords. Users that commented or DM the trigger keywords were taken through a 3-step DM chat: a personalised response with a free insight depending on their sun sign, a low tone to a full consultation, and a direct booking button. This system transformed cold followers into warm leads without using paid advertising based solely on organic engagement mechanisms and strategically designed content.
Daily polls, zodiac comparison prompts and countdown timers of live reads were run by stories to create a habitual engagement with the audience and keep the account in mind. Story drops to close-friends each week provided previews of exclusive astrology advice to a select audience, and formed a premium community layer that was again converted to paid consultations.
The Outcome
In 90 days, The Prophecy Astro grew its Instagram followers by 3.2 times, and this growth was solely through organic reach on Reels and content sharing. Inquiries into monthly DM consultations increased to less than 10 to more than 120 inquiries per month. The user interaction increased by 47 percent with audiences turning into active content consumers who commented, saved and shared content. The DM keyword system was transformed into a stable, low effort lead pipeline that kept on producing inquiries with little manual effort following the first configuration.
What used to be a Prophecy Astro posting content without really knowing where to go, is now one of the most engagement-effective astrology accounts in their industry with a consistent stream of consultation leads coming in each day based on their content postings rather than through paid ads.
